I bought a 1990 Zephyr that needed a little work. One of the things it needs is a right foot peg assembly. I'm not sure what else to call it. The place that the foot peg should attach to is completely busted off. I have searched the internet for the last few days and I can't come up with a replacement part for this.
Does anyone here have a suggestion as to where I might find this particular piece?

I'm really looking forward to getting this bike on the road. It's pretty nice except for the broken foot peg area.

Thanks so much.

I may have a spare stator cover as well. The stator is on the left side as you sit on the bike, though... Just making sure you don't need the timing cover instead, as it is on the same side asthe right footpeg.

Thank you for the reply. I am in no big hurry to get the parts that I need, as it is snowing here in Arkansas also. Not 3 feet of snow but snow. Bleh
It would be awesome if you had both of the parts that I need. I'm not sure what your asking price will be but I'm betting cheaper than the new parts I'd have to order if I can't get them used.
You are correct about the cover also. I am rather new to all things motorcycle and a friend told me that it was the stator cover. It is on the right side so it would be the timing cover. It's the cover that has Kawasaki stamped into it.

I have modified the foot peg until I can find a replacement.
I took the passenger peg off, drilled a hole where the driver peg would be. Then I inserted a flange nut upside down into the back of the hole and screwed the passenger peg in. It's not the best but it will do for now.
The driver foot peg was totally missing.

Thank you again. Bow before the great whoever!

Okay, got it on my list of things to search for in the storage closet when the ice melts a little more. Rt. footpeg bracket, rt. footpeg w/all hardware, timing cover. I am 90% sure I have a polished stock timing cover, but may not have anything else if you don't want polished. I am also 90% sure I have a new in packaging right front footpeg as well. I should have the hardware for that peg and a good used bracket, but can't swear to that until I dig through storage. Will keep you posted!

I would be happy with any color timing cover as long as it fits. It would be nice to get the thing covered. lol Again, I really appreciate you looking in to these things for me. I just haven't had a lot of luck with finding good used parts anywhere.

And here I let this sit all summer.

If you still need stuff, PM me and let me know and I'll go through everything while it's all out and accessible and we can work out something fair for what you need and get you running!
