Just trying to trace a number of electrical faults on my UK 1991 Zephyr project.
The indicator solenoid/relay unit on the bike is a two-pin version in this style |_ however the wiring loom plug is three-pin like this |_|
From what I can gather the early Zephyrs should have had a two-pin unit: is that correct?
What I am seeing on mine at the moment is that the indicators don't flash (they just stay on constantly, which suggests a faulty relay to me), and only the left indicators work. I wonder if this is because it is a two-pin relay on a three-pin plug?
Can anyone suggest a 3-pin replacement part which will work?
Thanks, as always!

I got a flasher unit from an auto parts store. Mainly because I replaced the stock lollipop signals with two sets of the Buell Ulysses rear signals (Italian made and with slightly higher watt bulbs). Mine wouldn't flash until I replaced the stock flasher with an electronic one from a car parts store for about $10 usd. It's either a variable load or no load relay, I forget which. The Ulysses signals are far better than any of those cheap shorties and look better than the stock ones, while actually being flexible if bumped. They even have the little locator pin on them. Only "negative" (not in my book) is that the front running lights are eliminated - like they do anything.
